| Charles is a founding partner of the firm of Lex Uganda Advocates, Solicitors. He is an Advocate of the High Court of Uganda and all Courts of Judicature in Uganda. He graduated with an Upper-Second Class degree from the Law School at Makerere University, and pursued a legal practice diploma at the Uganda Law Development Centre. He holds a Masters of Laws Degree in Corporate and Commercial Law from the London School of Economics (LSE), University of London.
Charles worked for three years as a Legal Officer in the Office of the Inspector General Of Government (IGG) and with M/s Shonubi, Musoke & Co. Advocates, Solicitors in Kampala for over four years. He left M/s Shonubi, Musoke & Co Advocates, Solicitors to found M/s Odere & Co. Advocates, now M/s Odere & Nalyanya Advocates, Solicitors.
Charles was a member of the Faculty of Law at Makerere University, teaching commercial law before he retired to legal practice.
Charles is a specialist in the following areas: Corporate and commercial law, taxation, finance, investment, privatization and deregulation.
