About Edmund Wakida

Edmund is a Senior Partner at the firm. He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Makerere University, a diploma in Legal Practice from the Uganda Law Development Center and a Master of Laws degree in Public International Law from the University College London, (University of London.)

Edmund is an advocate of the High Court of Uganda and all Courts of Judicature. He is a leading litigation lawyer in Uganda with years of successful court experience. Edmund has successfully litigated various civil matters relating to tax disputes, commercial transactions, electoral petitions, land disputes, human rights, government policy development and international trade and finance.

He heads the Tax Advisory and Litigation department of the Firm.

Edmund has vast experience in litigation where he has represented numerous clients in civil and criminal cases. He has vast experience in energy, oil and gas law, private equity, environment law and real estate. he has advised on various infrastructure development programs.

Edmund has also lectured at the Uganda Law Development Centre.
